The Islamic Financial Services Board is an international organization that promotes and enhances the soundness and stability of the Islamic finance services sector through the issuance of global prudential standards. IFSB also conducts research and coordinates initiatives on issues related to the sector. It organizes round tables, seminars and conferences for regulators and stakeholders in the sector. IFSB works closely together with international, regional and national organizations.
On 2 April 2015 in Jakarta, the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) decided to approve the admission of Tamweel Africa Holding as a member with observer status.
